Exec-Appointments Ltd is committed to protecting the privacy of the information it collects about you. The information is used to provide you with a personalised service each time you visit our site, exec-appointments.com and its subsidiary sites, non-execs.com and mba-direct.com (hereinafter, the "Sites").

What data do we collect?

So that we can provide a personalised service, upon registration or at other times, we will ask you to submit your full name and email address and you can also submit other mandatory and optional personal information. You need to supply your name and email address in order to register with us. This will enable you to search for positions of employment on the Sites, and to receive emails about suitable jobs and to access the content and news service. We collect your credit card details for any payments required in respect of subscription and other paid services on the Sites. Your credit card number is not held in our records and is only used to process the transaction through our payment platform provider, whose details are indicated at time of payment.

To allow you to search for suitable positions of employment advertised on the Sites you will be asked to enter search criteria information indicating the type of position you are seeking. You will need to provide this information in order to perform searches.

To forward advertisements for positions of employment carried on the Sites to other people you will be asked to provide us with your full name. You need to provide this in order to forward advertisements.

2.4 

We require that you supply your name and email address for anyone you contact through the Sites in response to an advertisement for a position of employment. Use of your personal data by the people to whom you respond is not our responsibility.

How is the information used?

Exec-Appointments Ltd will use the information you provide to us to:

• identify users of the Sites
• match the requirements of users seeking employment to those of potential employers or recruitment agencies, and send job alerts to them by email
• process and verify financial transactions
• improve the content of the Sites including the search process
• provide the persons to whom you may forward any advertisement to with your full name for identity purposes (we reserve the right to do this in the event you fail to do so)
• customise the content and/or layout of the Sites for each individual customer
• provide advertisements that are relevant to users and which support any specific requests for information users may make through searches
• carry out research on our users' activities on the Sites, interests and behaviour
• with your permission, send you information we think you may find useful, including information about new products and services we may be offering or plan to offer
• with your permission, pass your details (not your credit card or other payment details) to trusted third parties so that they can send you information that you may find useful, including information about new products and services they may be offering or plan to offer.

With whom is the information shared?

In addition to passing your details, with your permission, to trusted third parties as described above, Exec-Appointments Ltd may disclose aggregate statistics about visitors to the Sites, customers and sales in order to describe its services to prospective partners, advertisers and other reputable third parties and for other lawful purposes, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.

Exec-Appointments Ltd may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or if it believes that such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights, property or personal safety of Exec-Appointments Ltd, the Sites or visitors to the Sites.

The Sites contain links to other sites. Exec-Appointments Ltd is not responsible for the privacy policies or the content of such sites. If we send your details to a third party (with your permission) we cannot be responsible for use of those details other than by us once they are conveyed.

Security

Exec-Appointments Ltd places great importance on the security of all personally identifiable information associated with its customers. We have security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of customer data under our control. While we cannot ensure or guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of data will not occur, we use our best efforts to prevent this.

Use of Cookies

With your permission we use cookies, which will be stored on your computer hard drive, to identify you each time you visit the Sites in order to speed up the log in procedure, and to understand how the Sites are being used. You should avoid permitting us to use cookies if anyone else has access to the computer you use, as those people may be able to gain access to your account on the Sites without having to log in.

Where is the information stored

Information which you submit via the Sites is sent to a computer located in England. This is necessary in order to process the information and to send you the information you have requested. Information submitted by you may be transferred to our other offices and reputable third party organisations, which may be situated outside the European Economic Area.

Your acceptance of the above uses of your personal data

By using either of the Sites, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Exec-Appointments Ltd and to the Exec-Appointments Ltd privacy policy. Any changes to our privacy policy will be posted on this page but you are responsible for checking the policy each time you use either of the Sites.

Your rights

You have a legal right to a copy of all the personal information we hold about you. You also have a right to correct any errors in that information. As mentioned above, you have a right to prevent us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes.
